BAM! Berlin Festival for Contemporary Music Theater
BAM! Berlin’s Festival for Contemporary Music Theater is the festival of the local independent music theatre scene. It focuses on Berlin’s international scene of music theatre practitioners working outside the traditional opera form and on the variety and diversity of expression in dealing with present day issues. The festival is held and organized by its representative body, the ZMB (Zeitgenössisches Musiktheater Berlin e.V.).

The BAM! Festival takes place every two years.
