KUYUM Tanzplattform
The KUYUM Tanzplattform is a festival for contemporary African dance in Berlin. Since its founding in 2021 by Felix Dompreh – dancer, choreographer, and curator from Ghana – the festival has offered an international program featuring neo-African choreography, contemporary dance, and intercultural exchange. At its core is an innovative exploration of body, emotion, and movement in African dance. KUYUM challenges stereotypical perceptions, creates space for creative networking, fosters new collaborations, and supports the development of African dance forms in the diaspora.
