DOCK 11 | DOCK ART
DOCK ART, the performance department at DOCK 11, is part of Berlin's diverse independent theatre scene and a recognised anchor institution for contemporary dance. The theatre hall has been a permanent venue since 1998 and presents a programme that changes weekly. The focus is on dance, but performances, concerts and readings are also programmed. The programme strives for diversity and aesthetic plurality, is intergenerational, and is committed to cultural education and community projects. With more than 200 performances a year, it reaches approximately 12,000 spectators. Since 2020, DOCK ART has received conceptual funding from the Berlin Cultural Administration.
