Ratibor Theater
The founding of Ratibor Theater took place during a period of political and artistic change. In 1977, a free theater collective formed in Kreuzberg, inspired by international avant-garde, street, and experimental theater. Named after Ratiborstraße, where its first rehearsals took place, the theater found its permanent home in Cuvrystraße in 1980. Since 1997, it has been the main venue of the improvisation group Die Gorillas and is now a well-established name in the international improv scene. Performances take place on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, while Thursdays are dedicated to the Impro Embassy, welcoming international guests.
