Theater im Kino
The Theater im Kino (tik) opened in Friedrichshain in 2006. Since then, the venue has established itself as an off-theatre, a place for nurturing young talent and fostering community connections. Alongside its own theatre productions in the tradition of community theatre and guest performances, the tik’s programme features music, comedy, poetry, improv and more. This small, intimate theatre is open to diverse artistic movements, offering a stage not only to projects by semi-professional artists but also to amateurs and professionals, and bringing together artists, audiences and people from all walks of life. All activities within the theatre association’s participatory culture are accessible to all. The anti-discrimination policy is binding for everyone who attends.
